Meibang’s High-Pressure Roller Press Dewatering Machine Successfully Commissioned in Sri Lanka
Meibang Group’sadvanced coconut coir dewatering solution has been successfully installed, commissioned, and officially put into operation at a client’s site in Sri Lanka, marking another milestone in the company’s global expansion in agricultural waste processing equipment.
The client faced a persistent challenge: water-washed and desalted coconut coir retained excessively high moisture content, which severely hindered subsequent processing, packaging, and transportation. Meibang’s high-pressure double-roller press dewatering machine was deployed to address this critical issue.
The machine employs a powerful physical squeezing mechanism. After water washing and desalting, the wet coconut coir is fed into the machine, where it undergoes intense compression between two high-pressure rollers. This robust mechanical force effectively expels the residual moisture from the coir fibers. The result is a dramatic reduction in moisture content, bringing the final product fully in line with the client’s stringent quality standards.
This successful implementation has not only resolved the client’s production bottleneck but also significantly improved the efficiency and quality of their coconut coir processing line. The dehydrated coir is now easier to handle, store, and transport, and is ready for further value-added processing such as briquetting.
The client has expressed highly positive feedback and full satisfactionwith Meibang’s equipment and technical services. The smooth installation and commissioning process, supported by Meibang’s professional engineering team, ensured minimal downtime and a rapid transition to full production. This project further validates Meibang’s technological prowess and commitment to providing reliable, high-performance dewatering solutions for the global coconut coir industry.
