Expanding Coir and Peat Substrate Trade, Meibang Group Accelerates Global Industrial Layout
On August 18, Meibang Group marked a key milestone with the official inauguration of its Wobei Low-salt & Sterile Coir and Peat Technology Research Institute and Global Marketing Headquarters. Chairman Lu Shaosong, alongside employees and industry partners, attended the ceremony to witness the Group’s new phase of brand innovation and global expansion.
The inauguration reflects Meibang’s long-standing dedication to the coir and peat substrate sector, signaling the company’s entry into a dual-engine growth model powered by technological R&D and global marketing.
In his keynote address, Chairman Lu highlighted persistent industry challenges — including inconsistent quality, difficulties in sourcing premium coir and peat, and fragmented supply chains. To address these gaps, Meibang has launched a one-stop substrate raw material trading platform that connects low-salt coir and sterile peat suppliers with farmers worldwide, backed by professional equipment support and global distribution channels. The Group also announced a global recruitment drive for 100 leading coir and peat manufacturers to integrate premium resources and build a collaborative industrial ecosystem.
Technical Director Mr. Deng and department heads then presented the new platform’s core strengths across R&D, product upgrading, market strategy, and service systems, outlining a clear roadmap that reinforced confidence among attendees.
Following the ceremony, participants engaged in in-depth discussions. Chairman Lu introduced Meibang’s independently developed intelligent peat mining and production system — built on extensive industry research and field surveys of Russian peat mines, with iterative optimization by the technical team. The system delivers end-to-end automation from mining to finished products, significantly improving efficiency and quality consistency.
Meibang’s intelligent coir production lines are already well received across Southeast Asia, while its peat dewatering equipment has achieved mature deployment in China and Russia.
